Wednesday, October 29, 2008 has been designated as Pink Day, where students and staff have been invited to wear pink in support of breast cancer research.Pink ribbons will be available for all who wish to wear one, and will be distributed through home rooms on Wednesday morning. Donations in support of cancer research can be made in home room, while a table will be set up at lunch to provide students and staff with ribbons and/or literature pertaining to this important issue.
There is reason for great hope. Where once there was almost certain despair, cancer research and treatment is now saving lives. And this has been made possible through donations and efforts of people like you, who, through your caring, have made the fight against this disease a winnable one.
